my name is melissa cooper. i’m madly in love with my family, husband matt, sons nate, teddy & alex and our daughter reese. my passion is photography, and i want nothing more than to capture the real you. be it falling in love, a growing family, momentous occasion or just the everyday, i want your photos to take you back to memories so real you can taste them. i hope they give you a flutter in your stomach, bring tears to your eyes, make you laugh and leave you breathless when you look at them.

i’ve been told my style is real, fun and edgy. i want your time with me to be fun and unlike any photography experience you’ve ever had. i’ll laugh with you, at you and at myself to make you feel less self conscience, and come away having enjoyed being photographed. i love natural light, funky, unique locations, fun accessories and new ideas. most of all i love giving you a photography experience and the pictures to go along with it that will last a lifetime.

m photography is based in lexington, ky and serves the greater lexington area. will i travel you ask? i’m always up for travel anywhere in the world so inquire about rates out of the area!
